Law Firm Editorial Service logo

We built our eight-step editorial process to help our clients publish high-quality thought-leadership marketing content, under their own names, with as little effort as possible.

Having been founded by a former Big Law lawyer, we know the high standards that Big Law and boutique law firms demand from their lawyers when it comes to work product—billable or not. This is particularly true with written work product. Our process ensures the writing we produce consistently meets or exceeds our clients’ high standards.

step
01

We speak with the person we’ll be writing for about the topic they want us to cover, the angle they want us to take, and the points they want us to make.

step
02

We write the assigned piece based on Step 1.

step
03

After writing the piece, we put it through at least two rounds of edits that focus on substance, style, and grammar.

step
04

We submit the draft piece to the person we’re writing for.

step
05

They review the piece and provide any comments.

step
06

We make any revisions as necessary and resubmit the article for approval.

step
07

After the individual approves the piece, it is routed to their colleagues for formatting, graphic design, or any other forms of polish.

step
08

The piece is published. When possible, it is repurposed by a client’s colleagues to reach as many members of their target audience as possible.
